Ethiopia, the birthplace of Coffea arabica, stands alone in terms of cup variety and the sheer number of high-quality producers. This high bar requires our largest sourcing and QC operation across any country where we work. Our staff here–experts in farm management and farmer organization–provides us access to the most exciting producers each year, allowing us to continually engage and grow with existing producers, both on and off season.  

We source in Ethiopia across 4 producer categories: 1) estates, 2) single farmer exporters, 3) washing stations purchasing from smallholder neighbors, and 4) cooperatives.
